Hachikyū Guitar

This course is designed for beginner guitarists who want to learn the basics of playing the guitar. Our curriculum covers the following topics:

• Proper posture and hand positioning: Students will learn the correct way to hold the guitar and position their hands to ensure proper technique and prevent injury.
• Basic chords and chord progressions: Students will learn the most common chords used in guitar playing such as open chords, power chords and basic chord progressions, and learn how to switch between them smoothly.
• Basic scales and modes: Students will learn the most common scales used in guitar playing such as major and minor scales, pentatonic scales and modes, and learn how to play them in different positions on the fretboard
• Basic strumming patterns and rhythmic techniques: Students will learn basic strumming patterns and rhythmic techniques such as syncopation, and will learn how to play along with a metronome.
• Basic music theory and notation: Students will learn the basics of music theory such as notes, intervals, chords, and basic notation.
• Basic tuning and maintenance: Students will learn how to properly tune the guitar and perform basic maintenance to keep the instrument in good condition.

Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical exercises and play-alongs with backing tracks. The course also includes regular performance opportunities, workshops and masterclasses to give students the opportunity to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.
